Key Responsibilities:
* Design and develop digital & analogue circuits, PCBs, and complete systems
* Lead projects from initial concept through design, manufacture, and customer acceptance
* Drive systems integration and hands‑on fault finding to ensure robust performance
* Collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, including test houses
* Ensure compliance with CE/UKCA, EMC, RoHS, and Safety standards
* Prepare detailed technical documentation: schematics, BOMs, change notes
* Present at design reviews and support technical discussions confidently
What You’ll Bring:
* Proven experience in electronics design and development (digital and analogue)
* Proficiency with OrCAD or similar schematic capture and PCB design tools
* Solid knowledge of legislative compliance: UKCA/CE, EMC, RoHS, and Safety standards
* Strong hands‑on skills with excellent fault‑finding and systems integration expertise
* Degree in Electronics, Engineering, or equivalent qualification
* Current live UK Security Clearance (SC) – DV eligibility essential
* Experience working with MoD customers and defence equipment standards (Sonar experience is a strong advantage)
* Excellent collaboration, communication, and problem‑solving skills
