About the Role
Deliver high standards of personal care to residents at Hempstalls Hall Care Home in Newcastle under Lyme. Contribute fully to the care team to ensure continuity of services and maintain the highest standards of resident care.
Responsibilities
* Assist residents in all personal hygiene care, ensuring optimum independence, dignity and respect.
* Recognise and understand clinical risk areas such as weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls and signs of infections, and promptly report any identified risks.
* Act courteously towards residents and visitors, respecting each individuals dignity and individuality.
* Practice safe systems of work across all tasks.
Candidate Profile
* Can communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
* Show initiative and respect towards residents and teammates.
* Efficient worker who follows reasonable instructions from team members.
* Capable of being adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities on short notice.
* Comfortable with a thorough induction and training programme.
Requirements
* Disclosed DBS check (cost covered by Avery Healthcare).
* Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
