Woodbridge Park Education Service is a multi-site Alternative Provision for children and young people with complex needs in the London Borough of Hounslow. We are committed to providing a vital service to families and schools and are looking for inspirational, patient people who believe that every child matters.
We are expanding to grow our team of experienced Teaching Assistants. The role is based at Woodbridge Park Education Service, 24 Wood Lane, Isleworth TW4 5ED, and offers 32.5 hours per week term time only on a permanent contract. Salary is Scale 6 Point 16 - 20 (£27,017 gross pa - £28,660 gross pa).

Responsibilities
* Working 5 days per week, term time only, in a Teaching Assistant role.
* Inspiring and motivating students to achieve meaningful outcomes and raising achievement levels and self-esteem of disaffected young people.
* Utilising strong behaviour management skills and applying ASD experience to support learners.
* Preparation for lessons and supporting a range of activities to meet individual needs.
* Maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment and supporting safeguarding requirements.
* Willingness to train in Team Teach, First Aid, Health & Hygiene and Fire Marshal if not already qualified.
Qualifications and Experience
* Previous experience working with students in a supporting role is essential.
* Strong behaviour management skills and ASD experience preferred.
* Current certificates or willingness to train in Team Teach, First Aid, Health & Hygiene and Fire Marshal.
