About the Role
Welsh Water is a not‑for‑profit company delivering clean water to Wales. This role is part of the Engineering Department’s Assets function, focused on developing asset strategies, portfolio management and investment planning to create value for customers.
Responsibilities
* Rotate within the technical functions of the Asset Planning Directorate responsible for long‑term planning.
* Investment plan optimisation.
* Asset modelling and optimisation.
* Develop leading outcome delivery capability through governance, reporting and assurance.
* Develop world‑leading portfolio management for short, medium and long‑term planning.
Qualifications & Skills
Applicants should have achieved or be expected to achieve a minimum of a 2:2 (or equivalent) degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline. No prior experience is required.

Location & Travel
Primarily based in South East Wales with possible travel to sites across Wales.
