Overview:
This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded, multi-office law firm with a strong reputation in property and dispute resolution work. The firm has experienced consistent growth and offers a collaborative, forward-thinking environment with clear progression opportunities.
Due to internal movement, the team is looking to appoint a Property Litigation Solicitor to support a busy and expanding caseload. This role would suit someone keen to develop their expertise while working alongside experienced practitioners on high-quality matters.
The Role:
You will be responsible for managing a varied caseload of property disputes, working with both commercial and individual clients. The role offers exposure to the full lifecycle of litigation and a broad range of high-quality work.
Key responsibilities include:
* Advising clients on a wide range of property litigation matters with a commercial, solutions-focused approach
* Managing disputes from initial instruction through to resolution, including trial where required
* Handling matters such as:
* Landlord & tenant disputes (including 1954 Act claims)
* Breach of contract
* Boundary and neighbour disputes
* Co-ownership disputes
* Development-related disputes
* Engaging in ADR, including mediation and settlement negotiations
* Conducting risk analysis and developing strategic approaches to disputes
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships through clear, pragmatic communication
* Collaborating with colleagues across other practice areas where required
Candidate Profile
* Qualified Solicitor with 0-4 years’ PQE in property litigation
* Experience gained within a reputable regional, West End, or City firm
* Strong understanding of landlord & tenant work and general property disputes
* Ability to manage matters with increasing autonomy
* Commercially minded with a pragmatic approach to problem-solving
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal issues clearly
* Organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing a busy caseload
* A collaborative team player who is keen to contribute to a growing team
