This opportunity is a 3-month contract running from June to August 2025, with the possibility of extension.
You will work on-site 3 days per week, capturing high-quality photo and video content that showcases our plants, gardens, behind-the-scenes operations, and team.
You’ll work under the leadership of our Senior Manager, Copy and Content Strategy, collaborating closely with the wider in-house content team to ensure your visuals align with our campaign goals and brand storytelling.
About the Role: Work 3 days per week on-site (you can choose the days, but they must be consistent) Capture a variety of content including: Short-form videos for social media (Reels, TikTok, Stories, LinkedIn etc.) Long-form footage (YouTube, website, internal use etc.) Product and editorial-style photography Behind-the-scenes and lifestyle imagery Collaborate with our marketing and content team to plan shoots and deliver assets aligned with brand campaigns What We're Looking For: A freelancer or creative pair (videographer and photographer, or one person skilled in both) A strong portfolio of both photography and/or video work An eye for natural beauty, composition, and storytelling Experience with lifestyle, product, or brand content — ideally in horticulture Your own camera, lenses, and essential gear Comfortable working outdoors and in greenhouse environments What We Provide: Leadership from the Senior Manager, Copy and Content Strategy Access to our on-site location with garden and polytunnel Creative direction and shoot planning support Contract Details: Duration: June–August 2025 (3 months) Schedule: 3 weekdays per week (your choice, but consistent) Location: Mr Fothergill's Seeds Ltd, Gazeley Road, Kentford, Newmarket, Suffolk, CB8 7QB Rate: Competitive, based on experience (please include your rates in your application) All content produced as part of this undertaking will be fully owned by Mr Fothergill’s Seeds Ltd.
This includes the right to use, modify, and publish the content across all platforms, geographies, and materials, in perpetuity.
