About this RoleDo you have experience as a Bodyshop Engineer, Bodyshop Technician or Bodyshop Operative and want to take the next step in your career? Join Dawsongroup TCS Ireland in this hands-on position based in Naas, Co. Kildare, and be responsible for bench joinery, bodywork repairs and maintenance across our temperature-controlled hire fleet. You will work to agreed deadlines from job sheets, ensuring units are prepared to the highest standard and ready for rental. Carry out authorised repairs using a range of power and hand tools, working accurately to job sheets and timescales. Complete site joinery work including studded walls, door frames and apertures to required measurements and locations. Prepare units for painting or sanding by cleaning internally and externally, de-masking and replacing ancillary parts. Ensure all tooling and machinery is safe and operational, reporting any unsafe equipment to your supervisor. Work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure equipment is ready for rental in good time and complete all relevant paperwork, including stock usage, professionally and promptly. About YouYou are practical, detail-focused and take pride in producing high-quality workmanship that keeps fleet equipment safe, presentable and rental-ready. You understand the importance of health and safety, teamwork and delivering a reliable service to both colleagues and customers. Experience in joinery, bodywork repairs or similar hands-on engineering environments. Confident using a range of power and hand tools safely and effectively. Able to read and work from job sheets, measurements and agreed deadlines. Committed to maintaining high standards of health and safety at all times, including on customer sites. Reliable, organised and proactive in flagging issues to your line manager in good time.
