What you’ll be doing
* Lead the design and development of complex EW systems and solutions
* Apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) to solve real‑world challenges
* Drive modelling and simulation capability across projects
* Integrate multi‑domain models into coherent system architectures
* Work closely with customers to translate requirements into deliverable solutions
* Influence technical direction and grow into a Subject Matter Expert
What we’re looking for
You’re likely someone who enjoys solving complex problems and can confidently bridge systems thinking with technical delivery.
Essential
* Strong Systems Engineering background
* Experience with MATLAB / Simulink (or similar modelling tools)
* Experience integrating models across multiple engineering domains
* Knowledge of the engineering lifecycle (design through to test & acceptance)
* Understanding of Electronic Warfare (EW) or defence systems
Desirable
* MBSE tools (e.g. DOORS, Enterprise Architect, SysML/UML)
* Experience producing system design documentation
* Military or defence background (operator, support, acquisition, etc.)
Security requirements (non‑negotiable)
* UK National
* Eligible for UK Government SC clearance
