Role Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable SEN Teaching Assistant to join a highly regarded secondary provision in the Cranborne area.
This is a rewarding opportunity to support young people aged 11 to 16, with both full-time and part-time roles available and an immediate start offered.
The role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs in a structured and supportive learning environment.

The Role
Working hours are 8.30am to 3.30pm. You will support students throughout the school day, helping them to access learning, manage routines and build confidence.
Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting students with a range of SEN needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, communication difficulties and associated learning needs
* Providing one-to-one and small group support within a secondary setting
* Assisting with emotional regulation, behaviour support and engagement in lessons
* Working closely with teachers and other professionals to follow individual support plans
Essential Requirements
* A minimum of six months’ childcare experience
* Experience supporting children or young people with SEN needs
* The ability to drive and access to transport, due to the school’s rural location
* A calm, patient and resilient approach to supporting learning and behaviour
Pay and Benefits
This role offers an hourly rate of £13.75.
