A highly regarded, Legal 500-ranked South East firm is seeking a Senior Corporate Associate (5+ PQE) to join its leading team in Guildford.

The Role
The firm is now looking to recruit a Senior Corporate Associate (5+ PQE) into its Guildford office.
You will take a leading role on a broad range of corporate transactions, including:
* Mid-market and upper mid-market M&A (buy-side and sell-side)
* Private equity and management advisory transactions
* Venture capital and growth capital investments
* Complex shareholders’ agreements and joint ventures
* Corporate restructurings and group reorganisations
* Cross-border transactions and inward investment work
* Strategic corporate advisory matters for established clients
In this senior position, you will act as a key deal lead on transactions, managing work from instruction through to completion and coordinating input from specialist teams and external advisers.
In addition, you will:
* Lead client relationships and act as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders
* Oversee and manage complex, high-value transactions with significant autonomy
* Play a central role in mentoring and supervising junior lawyers within the team
* Contribute actively to business development, including client pitches and networking
* Work closely with partners on strategic client matters and team growth

Requirements
* Qualified Solicitor with 5+ years PQE in Corporate law
* Strong experience in M&A and private equity transactions (essential)
* Proven ability to lead complex transactions with minimal supervision
* Strong client management and stakeholder communication skills
* Experience supervising or mentoring junior lawyers
* Commercially minded with a proactive approach to business development
* Strong technical ability, drafting skills and attention to detail
