Legionella Remediation Engineer
Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 (dependent on experience & qualifications)

We are seeking an experienced, qualified, and conscientious Legionella Remediation Engineer to join a growing and highly respected organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to develop their career within a well-established, successful company.
Key Responsibilities
You will play a key role in delivering high-quality remediation and plumbing services. Duties include:
Carrying out a variety of customer-facing Legionella remediation and plumbing tasks.
Working from internal and external reports to install or correct water system issues across a wide range of sites.
Completing works such as:
Installing new Hot Water Cylinders (G3 compliant)
Removing dead legs
Cleaning and removing Cold Water Storage Tanks
Servicing water system installations
Disinfecting water systems
Following company method statements, risk assessments, and health & safety procedures.
Assisting with training and supporting junior team members.
Supporting ongoing quality control processes to maintain industry certifications.
Completing all necessary documentation to ensure compliance with legislative and financial requirements.
Providing professional advice and representing the company in a positive and knowledgeable manner.
Person Specification
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of HSG274 and ACoP L8 Legionella guidance.
Relevant qualifications such as:
City & Guilds Level 2 in Plumbing & Heating (or equivalent)
Cert-ain G3 Unvented & Vented Hot Water Storage Systems
City & Guilds Disinfection of Hot and Cold Water Systems
Ideally: CSCS Blue Card and Cert-ain Water Regulations certification.
Full UK driving licence.
Minimum of 5 GCSEs including English and Maths (Grade C or above).
Good IT skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Strong work ethic, excellent customer service skills, and attention to detail.
Flexibility regarding working hours.
Ambition to develop professionally and support the development of others.
What We Offer
£35,000 – £45,000 starting salary, dependent on experience and qualifications.
40-hour working week (Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm).
