Painter
Location: Holywell Hospital Antrim
Full time, hours
£ per hour
Key Responsibilities
1. Carry out all aspects of painting, decorating, papering, glazing, and stencil sign writing.
2. Work as part of the maintenance team with strong practical knowledge of painting maintenance, especially in older buildings.
3. Work independently when required with minimal supervision.
4. Deliver all work to a high standard of craftsmanship.
5. Take part in any required training to stay up to date with current construction and hospital-related legislation.
6. Follow Health & Safety and COSHH regulations, especially when working with hazardous materials.
7. Clean PVC or aluminium fixtures such as window frames, fascia boards, gutters, and soffits as part of external decoration.
8. Safely work at height using ladders, scaffolding, and steps, and report any equipment defects.
9. Look after all painting and glazing materials/equipment, ensuring their security and routine maintenance.
10. Take part in Trust SDPR assessments and carry out any other duties appropriate to the role.

Essential Criteria
Experience
22. Minimum of 3 years' relevant painting/decorating experience.
Qualifications / Registration
23. Recognised CITB Painting Apprenticeship, or
24. Construction Skills Register certification, or
25. Other approved technical painting qualification(s).
Other Requirements
26. Full UK driving licence and access to a car.
