Your Role
The Operational Care Specialist will be part of a team within the Operational Care Centre (OCC) responsible for coordinating transport activities by: executing bookings with partners and gateways, data entry for transport document generation, generating documentation, and liaising with customer care specialists to meet specific requirements (Transit Times, Carrier selection, Routings, etc.). The Specialist manages customer shipments by securing buy rates and capacity with qualified carriers/partners or via KN gateways, all in compliance with air transport rules, regulations, and national protocols, using KN operational systems.
Your Responsibilities
1. Coordinate customer deliverables with care teams, partners, and suppliers to manage cargo transportation.
2. Manage operational tasks using Business Process Automation tools (BPA).
3. Review shipping instructions for compliance with country regulations, export standards, and rate/routing accuracy.
4. Report problems, disputes, or discrepancies to supervisors or managers.
5. Monitor carrier and vendor performance, escalate issues as needed.
6. Address rate or performance discrepancies.
7. Collaborate with Sales and Customer Care teams during account implementation for seamless transition from sales to operations.
