Job Title: Science Teacher (Special Educational Needs)

We are seeking a passionate and committed Science Teacher to join our dedicated team at a special needs school in Harrow, supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD).
Responsibilities
* Teaching KS3 and KS4 science at entry level, adapted to meet the needs of learners with SEN.
* Delivering creative, engaging lessons that inspire curiosity and support progress in line with individual Education Health Care Plans (EHCPs).
* Working closely with a skilled multidisciplinary team to help students thrive both academically and personally.
* Contributing to an ambitious Sixth Form curriculum that is student-centred and focuses on individual outcomes, with qualifications in English, Maths, ASDAN and AQA unit awards, as well as opportunities for work experience, life skills training, and community engagement.
* Aiming to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and independence they need for their next steps in education, employment, and life.
Requirements
* QTS/QTLS with the ability to teach science.
* Understanding of, or enthusiasm to develop, SEN teaching strategies.
* A creative and flexible approach, with the resilience to support learners with diverse needs.
* Committed to empowering students to achieve both academically and personally.
