Responsibilities:
* Develop and assist in the maintenance of the Property Treaty product line
* Negotiate, assess and underwrite renewal and new business in a timely and efficient manner in line with the business plan and personal authority limits.
* Support the Property Treaty team with broker interaction, modelling, strategic thinking, emerging risk analysis and business planning
* Develop and maintain relationships with brokers and clients with a view to the production of new business
* Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal procedures, aggregate management for peak risks
* Compile underwriting reports and presentations as appropriate
* Maintain good relationships with both external and internal parties as appropriate
* Compile statistics and understand performance of all risks and accounts
* Review and finalise contract wordings
Skills & Experience:
* Lloyd’s or company market experience (broking or underwriting),in a client/broker facing role
* Technical knowledge of the Property Treaty class with experience of the International markets preferred
* IT (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) literate toan advanced level
* Working knowledge of Cat modelling tool outputs at policy and portfolio levels, eg RMS.
* Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
* Strong analytical skills and problem solving abilities.
