Job Description
The LV SWGR (Low Voltage Switchgear) Product Manager IEC EMEA is responsible for gathering and analyzing customer needs, evaluating market and regulatory trends, developing product roadmaps and strategies, leading presales support, and collaborating with teams to drive growth and innovation. The role involves working with regional and functional teams across EMEA to meet financial and sales targets, overseeing R&D priorities, product costs, design, pricing, and resource allocation within a global matrix organization.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the entire lifecycle of LV SWGR (IEC 61439-2) products, including hardware, software, and services from development to phaseout.
* Coordinate innovation and development efforts, focusing on AI, Cloud Services, Edge Computing, and applications in data centers and industrial markets.
* Facilitate market entry strategies, leveraging Vertiv’s global manufacturing and business development models.
* Ensure supply chain readiness, working with internal and external suppliers, particularly for the IEC 61439-2 standard.
* Conduct market and technology assessments, identify opportunities in cloud, colocation, enterprise data centers, and electrification sectors in EMEA.
* Develop tools and content for configuration, data management, and customer engagement to enhance profitability.
* Manage pricing strategies for LV SWGR configurations, collaborating with finance teams.
* Establish trust with customers and partners, participate in industry standards groups.
* Lead technical input for new product development, including design validation and performance improvements, considering environmental and safety factors.
* Support marketing efforts, including literature and trade shows.
Qualifications:
* B.S. in Engineering or related experience in product engineering, manufacturing, or marketing.
* Experience in engineering, supply chain, or manufacturing, with cross-functional collaboration skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with Smartsheet and Power BI is a plus.
* Ability to interact with customers at all levels.
* Experience with NPD, PLM, and managing product lifecycle processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Autonomous working style.
* Experience with process implementation and problem-solving.
* Knowledge of IEC 61439-2 standards and low voltage electrical components.
