Tiverton High School serves the beautiful and historic market town of Tiverton in mid Devon and is within easy commuting distance to the regional centers of Exeter and Taunton. We can be found just off junction 27 of the M5. We are within easy reach of areas of outstanding national beauty such as the Blackdown Hills, Dartmoor, Exmoor and close to the lovely Devon coastline.

About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of Computing to join our fully inclusive secondary school on a fixed-term basis until 31 August 2026 due to a known fall in roll. You will ideally be able to start on 5 January 2026.
Key Responsibilities
• Teach Computing across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, including GCSE Computer Science.
• Deliver engaging lessons that develop students’ programming, problem-solving, and digital literacy skills.
• Plan and assess in line with the national curriculum and school policies.
• Support students of all abilities to achieve their potential.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school and departmental development.
About You
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Strong subject knowledge in Computing, including programming languages Python), algorithms, and computer systems.
• Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
