This post is open due to a genuine occupational requirement to supervise and deliver PE lessons to male students. About the Role: We are looking for a committed professional with the energy and passion to inspire boys across Key Stages 3 and 4. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong subject knowledge, a commitment to student wellbeing, and the ability to engage all learners in a wide range of sporting and fitness activities. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons that promote physical fitness, teamwork, and personal development Organise and lead extracurricular sports clubs, fixtures, and school teams Contribute to the development of PE across the school and promote healthy lifestyles Support the wider pastoral care of male students as part of the school community We Are Looking For Someone Who: Holds QTS and a relevant degree in Physical Education or a related field Has experience teaching PE at secondary level (including to male pupils) Is an excellent communicator with a strong sense of teamwork and collaboration Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people Why Join The Prescot School?
