Your new role
This is a rare opportunity to take full ownership of the finance function within a dynamic SME environment. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will lead all financial activity from day‑to‑day accounting to high‑level reporting andmercial analysis.Key responsibilities include:
1. End‑to‑end ownership of the finance function
2. Preparation of monthly management accounts, forecasts and cash‑flow reporting
3. Hands‑on bookkeeping, ledger control and VAT returns
4. Payroll support and financial processing oversight
5. Supporting tenders, pricing, bid activity and new contract mobilisation
6. Strengthening financial systems, controls and processes as the business scales
7. Providing insight to support strategic and operational decision‑making
What you'll need to succeed
8. Qualified or QBE Accountant (AAT / ACCA or equivalent)
9. Experience within hospitality, catering, multi‑site or SME environments (desirable)
10. Strongmercial awareness with the ability to interpret financial data into meaningful insight
11. Hands‑on approach,fortable working autonomously with full ownership
12. Ability to build relationships across the business and support senior leadership
13. Confident working in a fast‑paced, evolving organisation
