We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly nursery team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is committed to providing high‑quality childcare and education while creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged 0‑5 years.</p><h3>About the Role</h3><p>As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting childrens learning and development through play‑based experiences, ensuring every child receives the highest standard of care and education. You will work closely with colleagues, parents and carers to build positive relationships and help children achieve their full potential.</p><p>Location: Grantham Nursery, 18 North Parade, Grantham, Lincolnshire, NG31 8AN<br/>Salary: Maximum £30,410 (pro rata) per annum, dependant on age and experience</p><p>Required Qualifications: Level 2/3 Childcare Qualification<br/>Contract Type: Can be offered as Part-time at 28.5 hours to Full-time at 42.75 hours per week</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Provide high‑quality care and education for children aged 0‑5 years.</li><li>Support childrens learning and development in line with the EYFS framework.</li><li>Observe, assess and record childrens progress.</li><li>Plan and deliver engaging activities that meet individual childrens needs and interests.</li><li>Act as a Key Person, building strong relationships with children and their families.</li><li>Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children at all times.</li><li>Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies and procedures.</li><li>Maintain accurate records and documentation.</li><li>Promote inclusion and support children with additional needs.</li><li>Work effectively as part of a team and support students and apprentices where appropriate.</li><li>Develop positive partnerships with parents and carers.</li></ul><h3>What Were Looking For</h3><h3>Essential</h3><ul><li>Level 2/3 Childcare Qualification (or equivalent).</li><li>Experience working with children aged 0‑5 years.</li><li>Good understanding of child development.</li><li>Knowledge of the EYFS framework.</li><li>Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.</li><li>Excellent communication and teamwork skills.</li><li>A positive, enthusiastic and caring attitude.</li></ul><h3>Desirable</h3><ul><li>Paediatric First Aid qualification.</li><li>Knowledge of current childcare and education developments.</li><li>Experience of working within a nursery setting.</li></ul><h3>What We Offer</h3><ul><li>Supportive and friendly working environment.</li><li>Ongoing training and professional development opportunities.</li><li>Opportunities for career progression.</li><li>A rewarding role making a real difference in childrens lives.</li><li>50% off childcare services.</li><li>Company pension scheme.
