The Grant Thornton Digital Audit Team (DAT) provides digital products, services and skills to enable auditors of the future, leveraging digital, data and technology opportunities to maintain audit quality, client service and operational excellence.
Role and responsibilities
The Data Analyst will be key to delivering data models to facilitate operational reporting and surface key metrics about DAT products, services and skills. You will work with cutting edge technology to extract, store, develop, and share data with the team and the audit practice. You will have the opportunity to make a real difference to the firm’s day-to-day business and to develop professionally and personally.
* Data development and visualisation: support the development and maintenance of data products via Microsoft Power BI to enable audit operational reporting.
* Engage as an expert user for team projects delivering scalable data integration and reporting solutions, including data in unstructured formats (spreadsheets, semantic models, etc.).
* Interacting with the business: engage with IS and Data Office teams to ensure consistency of approach and processes.
* Support DAT engagements with product owners to ensure consistency of data integrations and reporting.
* Data consumption and maintenance: support and maintain the data and infrastructure functions within the DAT and utilise the Microsoft Fabric environment as part of GT’s database solution.
