As an Estimator based in Rainham (RM13 8HY) or Branston (DE14 3PD), you’ll be responsible for:
1. Utilising the company’s bespoke CRM system
2. Communicating with customers via telephone and email
3. Creating quotations for prospect, new and existing customers daily
4. Interpreting information provided by the customer to understand their requirements
5. Sourcing prices from various manufacturers and suppliers whilst checking product compatibility and availability to meet strict deadlines
6. Advising customers on appropriate products, pricing and lead times
7. Liaising with both internal and external colleagues to support the conversion of enquiries into quotations and subsequently orders
8. Working to deadlines in order to meet customer expectations
9. Staying up to date with current product knowledge and trends
This is a full time, permanent role, working 40 hours per week from either our Rainham or Branston office (hybrid work pattern to be discussed)

10. A good all-round knowledge of the plumbing & heating industry is essential
11. An appreciation of the demands of working within the merchant industry
12. Understanding of the importance of teamwork and how it can improve service levels for customers
13. Ability to demonstrate an understanding and passion for excellence in customer service
14. IT, Numeracy and Analytical skills required
