Started in 2013, Cocoba Chocolate have been passionate about great tasting, quality Chocolate products. Whether for eating or drinking, we make a wider variety of products, using fantastic quality chocolate to deliver excellent products that consumers will love.

We pride ourselves on being creative and flexible. Working closely with customers to meet their needs and develop new ideas.

We have seen significant growth over the past 3 – 4 years and are looking to strengthen our team to help continue this growth.

The company is based in Rochester, Kent, ME2 2LS and the role is hybrid.

Job Role

This new role will join the team to specifically grow our business with the UK Grocers and Convenience Retailers.

The successful applicant will be expected to take ownership of the existing relationships with the key retailers, developing own brand and private label opportunities. They will continue to develop our business within the existing category partnerships that we have established but also explore new categories within those existing customers as well.

They will be required to work with the commercial teams and the product development teams to create ranges that fit the needs of the customer both in terms of product and price, whilst still ensure that the business is profitable for Cocoba.

Internally, they will work with our NPD team to ensure that new products are delivered to the expectation of the customer, both in terms of product and time frames.

Alongside this, there will be an expectation to seek out new opportunities with new customers in the UK Grocery Retail sector, Convenience Retail sector and Discounters.

This is not a corporate, heavily layered environment. You’ll be close to decision-making and working directly with senior leadership. Creativity and new ideas are encouraged and seen as a key part of delivering exceptional products to our customers.

Above all we aim to offer our customers and excellent service level, be reactive to their needs and flexible where possible, to ensure that they and in turn their customers get to enjoy our delicious products.

Key Attributes

* Experience working with UK Grocery Retailers ideally with more premium products.
* Ability to build strong relationships with buyers and the development teams.
* Network with existing buyers to forge new relationships across the customers business
* Identify new growth opportunities
