Shift Pattern: Weekday Night Shift 18.00 to 06.00 Monday to Thursday (46.40 hours per week)
Salary: £22.20 per hour (inclusive of shift allowance)
We have a vacancy for a Setter/Operator CNC Turner to join our manufacturing team at Bromford Precision Solutions Limited.
This role is suited to an experienced CNC Turner who is confident setting and operating machines within a fast-paced Aerospace or Automotive manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for producing high-quality components to specification, working safely and efficiently to meet production schedules.
Role Accountabilities:
* Set and operate CNC turning machines in line with production requirements
* Work to production timelines, ensuring output meets quality and delivery targets
* Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company-specific documentation at all times
* Carry out routine checks to ensure components meet specification and quality standards
* Maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail throughout the manufacturing process
* Manage workload effectively, prioritising tasks where necessary to meet deadlines
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to support team objectives and continuous production flow
* Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment in line with company standards
Person Specification:
* Minimum of 5 years experience in the Aerospace or Automotive industry in a similar role
* Apprentice trained (preferred) or able to demonstrate relevant equivalent experience
* Experience working in a production manufacturing environment
* Strong understanding of working to SOPs and controlled documentation
* Self-driven, results-oriented and positive in approach
* Able to work well with others and contribute effectively as part of a team
* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
* Comfortable working to deadlines and managing workload effectively
* Able to prioritise tasks where required
