We are seeking a CAD and Information Technical Engineer to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
1. Maintain and update all of the Trust’s AutoCAD drawings, collaborating with the Space Information Manager. This includes layout plans, fire plans, space plans, asbestos layouts, and services plans, as well as small projects.
2. Upload CAD and asset information into the Micad system in line with BIM standards to ensure data accessibility across the Trust.
3. Support the Estates Maintenance, Capital Projects, and Space Utilisation Teams by managing complex and sensitive information within CAD/Micad systems.
4. Conduct site surveys across all hospital areas, including sensitive zones such as Mortuary and Theatres, and hazard-prone areas like plant rooms and electrical risers.
5. Review, manipulate, and update drawings periodically; analyze and resolve complex system queries.
6. Manage the Micad system to maintain accurate content, facilitate reporting, and ensure compliance with ERIC return requirements.
7. Implement and recommend policies and procedures, adapting to changes in legislation and working practices.
8. Provide training on software systems to staff and contractors.
9. Create reports, documents, or drawings as needed; maintain and adapt multiple information systems to meet various requirements.
10. Test equipment or adapt systems as necessary.
11. Advise and act as a specialist within professional policies in this field.
