Parts Advisor
The Role
We are currently seeking an experienced and customer-focused Parts Advisor to join a busy and professional aftersales team. This role is pivotal in supporting the workshop, service department and customers by ensuring accurate parts identification, ordering and stock control.
Key Responsibilities

Accurately identify, order and supply vehicle parts and accessories
*
Support workshop technicians by ensuring correct parts are available in a timely manner
*
Liaise with customers (trade and retail) both face-to-face and over the phone
*
Process parts invoices, returns and warranty items
*
Maintain accurate stock levels and carry out regular stock checks
*
Work closely with Service Advisors and Technicians to minimise downtime
*
Ensure parts department processes comply with company and manufacturer standards
*
Upsell accessories and additional parts where appropriate
The Ideal Candidate
*
Previous experience as a Parts Advisor (automotive background preferred)
*
Strong knowledge of vehicle parts and electronic parts catalogues (EPC)
*
Excellent communication and customer service skills
*
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
*
Confident using dealer management systems (DMS)
*
Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
*
Full UK driving licence (preferred)
