About The Role
Home Safety Advocate – part-time, 21 hours per week, based at Prescot Community Fire Station
Our Home Safety Advocates work across Merseyside delivering a whole range of initiatives to make our communities safer from fire. You’ll be working alongside colleagues to provide home safety advice; assist our Firefighters with the assessment and installation of safety equipment; and support our partners in a number of community outreach projects.
Applicants must have experience of working within communities and have sound knowledge of Data Protection, together with a good understanding of privacy and confidentiality. Excellent communication and analytical skills and ability to work independently and meet agreed deadlines are essential requirements.
