Overview
Buyer (FTC) role at Oxford Instruments Andor, Belfast, GB. You will work as part of the wider Supply Chain team to ensure timely and efficient procurement of all goods and services and develop good working relationships with suppliers. This is a 12 month fixed term contract with the possibility of extension or permanent hire, based at our Belfast headquarters with hybrid working after probation.
Responsibilities
* Procure electrical and mechanical products and related goods and services in a timely and cost-effective manner.
* Develop and maintain good working relationships with suppliers and internal customers.
* Collaborate with the Supply Chain team to optimise procurement processes.
Qualifications
* 3 GCSEs including English & Maths
* 3 years’ experience in a purchasing/buyer role
* Experience in procuring electrical and mechanical products
* Good communicator with a positive can-do attitude
* Experience working with an ERP/MRP system
