Junior Sous Chef – Castle Hotel, Windsor – £33,000 plus TRONC, start date June 2026.

About the Role
The Junior Sous Chef supports the senior kitchen team in delivering high‑quality food and maintaining operational standards. The role focuses on day‑to‑day kitchen operations, team supervision, and personal development towards senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Supports the senior kitchen team in food production and service standards, focusing on day‑to‑day kitchen operations, team supervision and development.
Qualifications
* Previous experience as a Senior Chef de Partie or equivalent, ready to progress into a Junior Sous Chef role in a fast‑paced kitchen.
* Strong knowledge of food hygiene, kitchen safety and stock control procedures.
* Ability to lead and motivate junior kitchen staff during busy service periods.
* Excellent time management and organisational skills with attention to detail.
* Passion for high‑quality food preparation and consistency in presentation.
* Ability to work calmly under pressure and as part of a team.
* Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
* Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate preferred.
