About this Role:
As SENDCO and a member of our Extended Leadership Team, you will lead the strategic development and effective day-to-day operation of our Special Educational Needs (SEN) policy, ensuring pupils with special educational needs and disabilities receive the highest quality support. You will work in close partnership with staff, families, and external agencies to embed consistent, outstanding practice across the school. A key part of your role will be fostering a culture of inclusion and shared responsibility, with a commitment to getting the best outcomes for all learners.
Shrivenham CE Primary School, which is part of Cambrian Learning Trust, is a growing and successful school with happy, well-motivated and hardworking children and staff. We have recently moved into our brand-new, purpose-built school, expanding to include a 2-4yr old Pre-School provision. We currently have 280 children on role with increasing numbers as we grow to a 1.5 form entry school.
The role does have some flexibility for working hours and days on a 0.4 or 0.6 FTE contract.
