3-Month Contract with a Local Authority Summary The role is designed to assist households living in temporary accommodation by resolving housing-related issues, providing advice, addressing property concerns, and helping residents transition into suitable private rented housing. This position is crucial in ensuring that residents receive the necessary support to find long-term housing solutions. Responsibilities Provide clear, accurate housing advice to households in temporary accommodation. Support residents in finding long-term housing solutions and moving into private rented homes. Respond to a wide range of queries, complaints, and requests for help. Manage a caseload independently, ensuring timely updates and effective outcomes. Address anti-social behaviour (ASB) concerns by working with relevant partners. Identify barriers preventing move-on and develop creative solutions to support residents. Keep accurate records, case notes, and documentation on relevant systems. Essential Experience Required Experience working in Homelessness, Housing Management, or a frontline housing role. Knowledge or understanding of housing law, homelessness legislation, and the temporary accommodation framework. Essential Qualifications Required Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong IT skills, including use of Microsoft Office and case management systems. Additional Information Working hours: 35 hours per week Please note, we work on bi-weekly payments.
