We require an enthusiastic solicitor, barrister or legal executive to join our adult legal team. This is an excellent opportunity to support our clients by advising adult social care and community health teams within Torbay Council and Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust, providing legal advice across a wide area of adult services / social care law, including Community Care, Mental Health, Mental Capacity and all adult social care matters. As a more senior practitioner in the team you will deal with more complex matters within your caseload and advise and provide assistance on higher level strategic / policy issues. With the opportunity of flexible remote working (hybrid model) you will be an adaptable team player with excellent communication and IT skills, and be able to work to deadlines supporting the team with a varied and busy caseload. Knowledge Essential: High level of knowledge of the law and procedure within a specialist discipline in the team work area. A knowledge of the law applicable to Local Government. Experience & Qualifications Essential: Admitted as a practising Solicitor, Barrister or Fellow of CILEX (or equivalent) with at least 3 years post qualification experience.
