About the Role
As a Stock Assistant, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the store remains well‑stocked and organised for a seamless shopping experience. From receiving and replenishing deliveries to maintaining accurate inventory levels, you’ll help keep the store running efficiently while upholding high standards of stock presentation, safety, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
* Team Collaboration:
o Work harmoniously with your colleagues, fostering an inclusive and supportive team environment.
o Actively participate in team discussions and problem‑solving, contributing innovative ideas to achieve shared goals.
o Share knowledge and skills to support and train both new and existing team members.
* Operational Excellence:
o Receive and process deliveries efficiently, checking for accuracy and ensuring products are properly stocked and stored to maintain inventory integrity.
o Replenish stock and maintain store presentation by regularly restocking shelves and displays so customers have access to a well‑stocked and visually appealing environment.
o Maintain cleanliness and store standards, conducting daily housekeeping tasks, tidying shelves, maintaining fitting rooms, and ensuring overall cleanliness to create a welcoming atmosphere.
* Customer Engagement:
o Build strong connections with customers, engaging with them to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
o Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive experience.
o Represent the Mountain Warehouse brand with enthusiasm and professionalism, creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for all.
* Sales & Performance:
o Work with the team to meet and exceed sales targets, contributing to a high‑performing and motivated workplace.
o Support store management in identifying opportunities for growth and improvement, helping the team achieve its full potential.
