Project Manager | UK Defence
**Location: Barrow-In-Furness
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Travel Requirements: Minimal
Perm FTC 2 Years Minimum (most likely to be extended) / Up to £55k per annum + extra £650 per month if live out of area.**
Are you an experienced
Project Manager

In this role, you'll take full ownership of project execution - managing scope, budget, schedule, and stakeholder engagement - while working with cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, and finance.
What You'll Do:
* Lead end-to-end project delivery to meet contractual, technical, and financial goals
* Ensure risk, issue, and change management is handled effectively
* Act as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
* Drive project performance monitoring and reporting
* Collaborate across departments to deliver project milestones on time and on budget
What We're Looking For:
* Solid experience in project management (ideally within engineering or manufacturing environments)
* Formal Project Management qualifications (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP) desirable
* Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially MS Project, Excel, Teams); SAP experience is a bonus
