About the Role
Successful candidates will work as a Cover Supervisor within a secondary school in Bournemouth, starting in September 2021.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes during the short-term absence of teachers. Work will already be prepared, meaning your role is to manage the classroom, support students in completing tasks, and maintain a positive learning environment.
This position provides an excellent insight into the teaching profession without the responsibility of lesson planning or marking.

During Your Placement, You Will:
* Keep a reflective journal of your experiences
* Observe lessons across multiple subjects and teaching styles
* Learn effective behaviour management and differentiation strategies
* Support pastoral care and student development
* Develop an understanding of school policies and procedures
* Explore how your degree subject applies within the curriculum
* Support students with coursework and exam preparation
