Job Opportunity: Avionics Mechanic
We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Avionics Mechanics to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and technical environment, supporting essential aircraft modifications and maintenance activities.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
* Carry out modifications and maintenance in accordance with approved drawings and maintenance data, taking full accountability for the technical integrity of all work performed.
* All tasks will be assigned by the Lead Technician or B2 Engineer.
* You will be expected to provide regular updates on any issues affecting the work plan, including proposed solutions or recommendations where applicable.
* Any unsafe conditions must be promptly reported to the Lead Technician or B2 Engineer, as well as through the appropriate internal reporting channels.
* Precise wiring terminations and testing.
* Removal and installation of various shelves, panels and equipment.
* Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and regulatory requirements.
* Loom Manufacture and testing.
* Support avionics system testing, validation, and troubleshooting.
* Maintain the highest standards of tool control within the work area.
* Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
Skills and Abilities
* Completed an engineering apprenticeship - ideally in Aeronautical engineering or military equivalent
* Previous aircraft modification experience
* Previous aircraft production experience is advantageous
* Excellent hand skills
* Attention to detail
* Eligible to work and live in the UK
* Subject to UK security Vetting
* Excellent knowledge of Avionics systems
* Reliability
* Adaptability
* Good interpersonal skills

* Initial Human Factors; Continuation Training Human Factors
* Initial SFAR phase 1&2; Continuation Training SFAR phase 1&2
* Initial EWIS group 1&2 (including EWIS group 1 Module G (Practical ; Continuation Training EWIS group 1&2

* RVSM
