We’re looking for a Finance Project Administrator to ensure projects are administered correctly through our Finance Systems and that the integrity of the projects data is maintained, alongside enabling the Trust to continue our portfolio of project work.
What it's like to work here
You’ll be based at our Finance Service Centre (FSC) alongside other teams responsible for processing all financial transactions for the National Trust. It’s a hugely important and busy function that helps us deliver great service. This vital operation is key in supporting our core purpose, and we take real pride in being part of something so impactful.
Your contractual location will be Epsom Court, Trowbridge and there will be an expectation for you to attend the office two days per week. However, there is flexibility on where you are based at other times. You will be required to work at a National Trust location for 40-60% of your working week. This will be discussed in more detail at interview.
What you'll be doing
Day to day you’ll be creating projects, moving them through the framework and loading project forecasts into our Finance System. You will also be managing a busy mailbox along with other members of the team, responding to emails, reviewing spreadsheets, and working alongside a Finance Project Administrator and Finance Support Accountants. You’ll be communicating via Webex, telephone and email.
You should have some administration experience, ideally in a Finance System, and be willing to learn new skills. Numeracy skills and experience using spreadsheets are required. Comfort with stakeholder communication and organisational skills to self‑manage your workload in a fast‑paced environment are essential.

* Confidence communicating with a variety of people, finance and non‑finance alike
* Working knowledge of standard PC software such as Excel and SharePoint
* Knowledge of Finance Systems and Database Management is advantageous
