Support Equipment Field Service Representative (SE FSR)
Location: RAF Marham
Contract: 6 Months
Working Pattern: Full Time – On Site
Security Clearance: SC Required
Hourly Rate: £37.13 per hour or £50.01 via umbrella (inside IR35)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Support Equipment Field Service Representative (SE FSR) to support the UK Lightning Force F-35 programme at RAF Marham. Acting as the primary point of contact for all F-35 Support Equipment (SE) technical, logistics and data-related matters, you will play a critical role in ensuring equipment is safe, compliant and mission ready.
Working closely with the UK Lightning Delivery Team (LDT), Support Equipment Controlling Authority (SECA), and the F-35 SE Engineering Authority, you will coordinate sustainment activity, technical support, calibration, repairs and equipment readiness across the programme.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong RAF engineering background who thrives in a highly technical and operational environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Acting as the primary point of contact for UK F-35 SE technical, logistics and data issues
2. Coordinating with Fort Worth-based SE Item Managers, Engineering teams and SE leadership to resolve equipment issues
3. Supporting up-line reporting to provide a global SE status picture
4. Liaising with site leads and engineers to ensure effective communication of ongoing issues
5. Providing familiarisation training to operators and engineers
6. Assisting customers with SE-related Action Requests (ARs)
7. Facilitating receipt of hardware and technical data for SE deliveries
8. Delivering direct technical support, demonstrations and reach-back support from sustainment engineering teams
9. Supporting SE calibration activities and facilitating calibration for the QECCs
10. Coordinating off-base repairs for F-35 support equipment
11. Supporting ITC SE course delivery and development
12. Ensuring all activities are conducted in accordance with company Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) policies and procedures
Skills & Experience
Essential
13. RAF Trade Group 5 background
14. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
15. Experience working within an engineering or sustainment environment
16. Ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders and technical teams
17. Understanding of safety and compliance requirements within a defence environment
Desirable
18. Engineering qualification
19. Previous experience supporting F-35 or military support equipment programmes
20. Calibration or technical training experience
