We’re looking for a Private Client Solicitor to join a well-established team in Wakefield. With plenty of work ready to go, this is a fantastic opportunity to step into a role with significant responsibility, supervision opportunities, and a clear progression path.
You’ll support and mentor junior solicitors and trainees, while running your own varied caseload of wills, probate, trusts, estate planning, and LPAs.
Within two years, you’ll be a key part of the team’s leadership and growth.
Who we’re looking for
 * Qualified Solicitor with 3–5 years’ PQE in private client work
 * Strong experience across wills, probate, trusts, and estate planning
 * Confident in managing a full caseload independently
 * Supervision or mentoring experience
 * Supportive, approachable team-player with leadership potential
 * Flexible and confident, with strong client-care skills
What you’ll be doing
 * Running a busy caseload of private client matters independently
 * Supervising and mentoring junior solicitors and trainees
 * Advising clients on wills, probate, trusts, LPAs, and tax planning
 * Contributing to business development and client growth
 * Playing an active role in the stability and future expansion of the team
Salary & Benefits
 * Salary: Market rate, dependent on experience
 * Hybrid: Up to 2 days WFH per week
 * Holiday: 26 days rising to 31, plus bank holidays
