The role involves monitoring environmental sites, carrying out data checks, and collecting information about site condition to support asset management and future investment planning.

Responsibilities
* Maintain hundreds of environmental monitoring stations and support site operations through regular maintenance and data collection.
* Carry out data checks using the online asset management system (AIMS OM) and ensure information is up-to-date and accurate.
* Visit sites to collect information about their condition and feed data back into the asset management system.
* Contribute to planning for future investment by providing reliable data for decision-making.
* Collaborate with colleagues across asset management teams and other business functions as part of a nationwide community of practice.
* Respond to incidents as part of the role’s requirements.
Qualifications and Experience
* Experience using databases and spreadsheets.
* Ability to collate and interpret different sources of data accurately and efficiently.
* Experience delivering work by planning, tracking, gathering and maintaining data/information.
* Ability to work under own initiative and as part of a team to make decisions and achieve outcomes.
* Strong organisational skills and ability to use systems and applications.
* Attention to detail, efficiency, and perseverance with tasks.
* Good communication skills and ability to develop and maintain good relationships.
* Full Driving Licence.
* Experience in asset management is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
Working Arrangements
The role can be hybrid with a mix of home working and regular office attendance at one of the offices in Exeter, Launceston or Bodmin. Travel to sites is expected. Flexible working patterns are supported, including job share where applicable.

* Candidates may be asked to provide examples using the STAR technique (Situation, Task, Action, Result) during interviews.
