Randstad Education is experiencing a surge in demand for supply teachers in the Leyland area. We are seeking enthusiastic and highly skilled KS1 and KS2 teachers to join our team, covering day-to-day and long-term placements in a variety of primary schools.
About the Role:
1. You will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing engaging and effective lessons for KS1 and KS2 classes, working with a range of year groups within the Key Stage.
2. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a consistent and high standard of teaching and learning across the KS1 and KS2 curriculum.
3. You will be committed to the well-being and development of all pupils, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
4. You will have a strong understanding of the KS1 and KS2 curriculum and the ability to differentiate instruction to meet individual needs.
5. You will possess excellent classroom management skills, ensuring a calm and focused learning environment.
6. You will be flexible and adaptable, able to work effectively in different schools and settings.

Essential Criteria:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
2. Experience of teaching in Key Stage 1 (Years 1 & 2) or Key Stage 2 (Years 3-6)
3. Excellent classroom management skills
4. Strong understanding of the KS1 and KS2 curriculum
5. The ability to plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons
6. Flexibility and adaptability to work in different school settings
Details:
1. Placement types: Day-to-day and long-term
2. Working hours: Typically 8:30 am - 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday
