CAREER OPPORTUNITY – ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
‘Electrics are the new rust’!
Addressing a real need in our world of classic and collectible cars, we have recently created a new Electrical Engineering department, on site at our award winning Essendonbury Farm premises in Hertfordshire, to identify and repair failed electrical components, from light clusters to roof modules, alternators to ECU’s and lots between.
We are now looking for a ‘bright spark’ to join the team and help in establishing this new activity.
Initially, the Electrical Engineer will follow a rigorous evaluation process, to identify the most commonly experienced electrical component failures for repair, carrying out a thorough investigation process, to identify root causes, and establish the required methodology for executing the repairs.
Once established, our Electrical Engineering services will then be offered to both our workshop clients and owners of Aston Martins and classic cars, around the world.
The successful candidate will need to possess and demonstrate a high level of understanding of electrical components and necessary repairs and will have relevant experience, within the automotive or similar industry. Experience with the automotive industry is preferable but not essential. A personal interest in cars and machines, we believe, will be an advantage to the candidate.
Operating from our newly created, dedicated Electronic Engineering department, at our Essendonbury Farm premises, the working hours for the role will be Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm. A competitive and attractive remuneration package is available to the successful candidate, based upon existing experience and skills.
