Job Description
Quest Search & Selection is partnering with a leading ecommerce retail brand company. The role of Product Quality & Compliance Manager will be responsible for overseeing compliance and product safety across several categories, such as Toys & Plush Products, Accessories & bags.
The position requires strong cross-functional collaboration, working closely with product development, technical, eCommerce, logistics, and sales teams, as well as external manufacturers, to ensure compliance across both national and international markets, including Amazon marketplace.
Key Responsibilities of this role Product Quality & Compliance Manager:
* Monitor and interpret product regulations, particularly for Stationery, Baby & Nursery Products and Soft Toys & Plush Products.
* Ensure compliance with safety standards including ISO9001, EN71, CPSIA etc.
* Coordinate product testing with third-party laboratories and review test reports, certifications, and labelling.
* Maintain and manage product compliance documentation and certification records.
* Evaluate and audit suppliers to ensure compliance and implement corrective actions where required.
* Provide compliance guidance to internal teams and act as the main point of contact for related queries.
* Liaise with logistics to ensure accurate documentation for export and regulatory requirements.
Key Requirements of this role Product Quality & Compliance Manager:
* Ideally having experience in Product Compliance with strong knowledge of regulations related to general Merchandiser or Childrenswear will be considered .
* Ideally have come from a retail, ecommerce or supplier side delivering own-label product
* Experience working with international compliance standards and regulatory requirements of ISO 9001
* Solid understanding of product safety standards and both local and global compliance laws.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across multiple teams and functions.
* Self-motivated and proactive, able to work independently while collaborating effectively across the business.
