THE MOMENT

Advanced AI is rewriting the rules of economic value creation. Policymakers, business leaders, and civil society need rigorous frameworks to navigate the uncertainty ahead—but few organizations are convening the conversations that matter or developing the shared reference points that institutions need for this kind of strategic thinking.

We have a narrow window to convene the right people, ask the right questions, and develop a shared understanding of plausible economic futures. The scenarios we build now will shape how institutions prepare for transformative AI.

ABOUT WINDFALL TRUST

Windfall Trust is a global policy accelerator preparing society for the economic disruption where AI systems will outperform most skilled workers across non-physical tasks.

Our mission is to ensure the economic benefits of transformative AI are broadly shared, not captured by a few. We focus on:

* Raising Awareness: Building public understanding of economic risks before crisis hits
* Building the Movement: Creating unlikely coalitions that drive equitable futures
* Strengthening the Evidence: Producing research that makes policy action possible

THE ROLE

As Senior Scenarios Program Manager, you will own the design and delivery of high-stakes scenarios workshops that bring together leading economists, technologists, and policymakers to explore economic futures under transformative AI.

This is not an events coordination role. You will shape the intellectual substance of our workshops—translating strategic goals into compelling scenarios experiences, ensuring outputs influence policy conversations globally, and continuously improving our methodology. At the same time, you will be accountable for flawless execution, working with an external events agency that handles logistics.

Your responsibilities:

* Design scenarios workshops as intellectual products: understand the audience, articulate clear goals, and translate these into meaningful scenarios that are rigorous yet accessible
* Drive end-to-end delivery of workshops: participant recruitment, agenda design, facilitation planning, materials preparation, and follow-up
* Commission and coordinate external experts, facilitators, events firms, and other contributors
* Produce post-workshop outputs including synthesis reports, policy briefs, and participant network maintenance
* Maintain and deepen relationships with economists, AI researchers, and policy leaders to strengthen our convening power
* Collaborate with communications team to amplify workshop insights
* Continuously improve our scenarios methodology and workshop model

ABOUT YOU

You combine intellectual depth with operational excellence. You can rapidly grasp economic and technical concepts and engage credibly with senior economists and policymakers. You can also drive complex projects to completion without dropping balls. You understand that great workshops require both creative design and meticulous execution. You're willing to travel internationally for workshops and partner meetings.

Required:

* 5+ years in program management, product management, strategy consulting, think tanks, or equivalent
* Background in AI, economics, or technology policy
* Track record delivering complex, multi-stakeholder projects on time and to a high standard
* Facilitation or convening experience with senior audiences (incl. workshops and conferences)
* Exceptional writing and synthesis skills, including attention to detail
* Experience coordinating senior stakeholders across business, academia, and/or policy
* Willingness to travel internationally for workshops and partner meetings

Preferred:

* Experience with scenario planning, strategic foresight, or futures methodologies
* Familiarity with policy and/or academic environments

You'll join an ambitious, fast-moving team operating globally. We're values-driven, impact-focused, and committed to ensuring a better economic future for all in the age of AI.

We actively encourage applications from diverse backgrounds.
