St Ewold's Residential Home is looking for caring and reliable individuals to join our domestic team on a zero-hours relief basis. This role offers flexible hours while making a meaningful contribution to our residents' daily lives.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out a range of domestic and cleaning duties to maintain high standards of hygiene throughout the home.
* Follow infection control, COSHH, and health & safety guidance at all times.
* Use cleaning equipment safely and effectively, including hoovers, carpet cleaners, and laundry facilities.
* Work as part of the wider care team to support the smooth running of the home.
* Create a safe, welcoming, and comfortable environment for residents.
* Treat residents with dignity, respect, and compassion, recognising their individual needs.
* Communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues, residents, and visitors.
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
* Experience in a care home or healthcare setting is desirable.
* Excellent communication and team-working skills.
* Ability to work on own initiative while contributing effectively as part of a team.
* Caring, compassionate, and motivated, with a genuine interest in supporting older people.
* Physically able to perform domestic tasks and use cleaning equipment safely.
* This role is subject to a DBS check at the appropriate level.
