We are recruiting for a Design Manager/Senior Design Manager to join our UK South Construction division on a Healthcare project. The role involves understanding and managing the design requirements of the tender/project, providing guidance to design co-ordinators, and overseeing the design team.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Input into the selection of the design team.
2. Define the design team’s responsibilities and scope of services.
3. Coordinate tender and construction programmes with the design team.
4. Hold regular design meetings, involving critical subcontractors as necessary.
5. Advise on the selection of specialist subcontractors.
6. Consider alternative building methods, subcontractors, and materials.
Candidate Requirements:
* Experience managing a full design team, including design managers and coordinators.
* Strong internal package experience and change control, ideally with BSA and Healthcare experience.
* Knowledge of site/contract procedures.
* Ability to organise, plan, programme, and manage workloads effectively.
* Good understanding of Building Regulations and Planning Permission procedures.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Viewpoint for Projects (4Projects).
