Radfield Home Care York, Thirsk & Ryedale is a family-run, award-winning home care provider rated Outstanding by the CQC. We’re looking for kind, caring, and dependable individuals to join our friendly team and help older people live independently in their own homes. No previous care experience? You’ll receive full, paid training and ongoing support to help you build a rewarding career in care.
Responsibilities
* Provide one-to-one, person-centred care for older adults in their homes
* Support clients to enjoy outings and social activities
* Help with personal care and daily routines
* Provide medication support
* Assist with mobility, safe manual handling, movement, and transfers
* Carry shopping or household items when needed
* Aid with errands, appointments, and community activities
* Assist with cooking and cleaning
* Promote independence, dignity, and comfort in every visit
What You’ll Get
* £13.25/hour on weekdays; £14.25/hour on weekends
* Paid travel time between visits (£13.25/hour)
* Mileage allowance: 40p per mile
* Shifts: Morning from 7am and Evening until 10pm, including alternate weekends
* No experience needed – full, paid training provided
* Real Living Wage employer

* Continuous in-house and online training
* £40 MOT contribution
* Regular team get-togethers and ongoing support
Where You’ll Work
You’ll support clients across York and nearby villages, including: Acomb, Bishopthorpe, Clifton, Copmanthorpe, Dringhouses, Fulford, Haxby, Huntington, Poppleton, Stamford Bridge, Wheldrake, Easingwold, Green Hammerton and surrounding areas.
What You’ll Need
* A kind, caring, and reliable nature
