Job Summary
We are recruiting for a Clinical Educator who shares our ambition and vision to deliver high quality, compassionate care to our patients. To provide clinical education to our busy paediatric team within the trust.
Responsibilities
* Provide clinical education to paediatric nursing and support staff across Calderdale and Huddersfield sites.
* Demonstrate leadership, mentoring, supervision, teaching, and assessment skills.
* Be forward-thinking and proactive to improve the hospital experience for children and families.
* Work across a 35‑bed Calderdale unit (Same Day Emergency Care, Enhanced Care, medical inpatients and planned surgery) and an 8‑bed Huddersfield unit (acute surgery and clinical decisions unit supported by Advanced Paediatric Nurse Practitioners).
* Organise and deliver training, evaluations, and professional development activities.
Qualifications
* Extensive acute children’s nursing experience.
* Evidence‑based clinical skills and proven experience in mentoring, supervision, teaching and assessment.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and compassionate approach to children and their families.
* Team player who is dynamic, flexible and able to act on own initiative.

Pay & Benefits
Pay scheme: Agenda for change
Band: Band 6
Salary: £39,959 to £48,117 per annum, pro rata
Contract: Secondment
Working pattern: Part‑time, Flexible working
