Responsibilities and duties of the Sales Engineer role Reporting to the General Manager you will: Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers throughout the sales cycle Provide technical support via phone, email, and on-site customer visits Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of products and systems Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues relating to energy and power systems equipment Prepare and deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, and customer training sessions Support the sales team with proposals, quotations, and tender submissions Conduct product training at the dedicated training facility Maintain strong technical knowledge of company products, systems, and applications Provide technical guidance on system architecture, integration, and configuration Carry out site surveys, system evaluations, and commissioning support where required Collaborate with engineering and product management teams to deliver effective customer solutions Support project handovers from sales through to engineering and delivery Gather customer feedback and market intelligence to identify future opportunities and product improvements Represent the business at industry events, exhibitions, and customer meetings Professional qualifications We are looking for someone with the following: Strong hands-on background with practical knowledge on Deepsea, ComAp, SCADA or PLCs.
