An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to join our busy and expanding Manchester office, supporting our clients to deliver projects and programmes in the Healthcare sector, within our Real Estate division.

Main Purpose of Role
* To lead Project Management Commissions, taking responsibility for end‑to‑end service delivery, often with respect to large or complex projects.
* To act as the key, day‑to‑day client interface, ensuring that client objectives are met and that projects are delivered to time and cost targets and the appropriate quality standards.
Scope
Project Managers handle commissions of varying scale and value, typically up to £40m in value. For advisory services, project size may be larger.
Project Management Responsibilities
* Advising at a strategic level at the project conception stage, including providing advice on the different approaches that can be adopted to achieve the client’s objectives.
* Leading the establishment of overall success criteria, including time, cost, technical and performance parameters.
* Planning for and managing quality, safety, health and environment issues.
* Establishing effective project governance, processes and systems for the entire project.
* Project planning, including ensuring the production of a detailed project plan.
* Advising upon resource procurement.
* Leading and facilitating the overall cross‑functional project team.
* Monitoring and applying performance management techniques, including KPI use to improve performance.
* Managing the change control process.
* Monitoring and advising on project finances.
* Managing the flow of information between the team and the client, through regular meetings and written communication.
* Ensuring the production of formal project progress and other reports.
* Taking a leading role in interfacing with the client and other consultants at all project stages.
Qualifications
* Degree qualified in a relevant discipline.
* Professional qualification (MCIOB / APM or similar).
* Proven experience managing Healthcare projects, ideally in a consultancy environment; candidates from contracting backgrounds will be considered.
